The Matrix - Simulation Argument, scary but interesting read...

Came across this idea of "living in a computer simulation" (to summarise an article titled Whats the probability that we're living in the Matrix?) on Digg today and thought long and hard about the propositions and the effects of such an argument. Its not the first time i've dealt with the issue, on my long and (often boring) train trips from Uni I'd look outside to the open world and think, could all this just 'happen'? I was going to jot my ideas down here but I dont think I'm ready for that yet - maybe later... Anyhow read the article and keep an open mind whilst reading it and see what thoughts are provoked, then head off to read Why make a matrix? and read the "Agent Smith" dialog. Interesting no?

Side Note: I loved the first Matrix, I thought it brought a fresh new revolution to cinema (effects-wise) and an interesting story, never really figured it would trigger people to think outside the square they live in;-)\

UPDATE:
Checkout this (somewhat funny) clip acting out some of the scenes in the matrix.
