Jensen Harris has uploaded some
juicy new shots of Office 2007 and I have to admit this is insanely good looking compared to all the previous Office suite's MS have released. Theres a breakdown of per-package of screenshots to take a look.
On that same note, I just got the email that Office 2007 Beta Refresh will hit MS Beta next week! Cant wait!
The New UI Change Experiment
It took me quite some time to get used to the new UI, but once you get the hang of it you wont go back. Its a wonder why MSFT didnt implement the UI earlier as it truely is clever. While I've only used Outlook and a bit of Word I can safely say that the WYSIWYG editing environment is (while a tad hard to understand at first) a godsend. Bravo to the boys at Office... Innovative GUI design! (now we'll just have to wait for other OS's to start imitating it!)
